In the search for the perfect run: „Your Perfect Run“ an offline and Point of Sale campaign involving a series of running events across Europe should create enthusiasm for the „Perfect run“. The events varied from the legendary Finnish women’s race, to the night marathon in Rome, to the spectacular half marathon on the Aletsch Glacier.
The online platform of the campaign should convey the fascination of the series of runs, support runners across Europe in their search for the “Perfect Run” and build a community around the captivation of running.
Every runner has a different idea of their perfect run. adidas offers the running enthusiast a platform which does not just advertise official adidas events, but also gives users the opportunity to define their personal perfect run and share it with the community.
A three dimensional navigable map allows runs and running routes to be reproduced and displayed in a multimedia setting with point by point text, images and animated maps. Freely definable perspectives, preset camera views and the possibility to switch between image and map provide a perfect insight and overview of the run displayed including its elevation profile and the landscape.
The most distinctive feature: with just a few clicks each user can create a multimedia view of their own perfect route from a standard map and publish this on the adidas platform and Facebook.
